My name is Janice and my business is called Janice's Training Techniques, I have been a driving instructor since 2006 in Cambuslang and the surrounding area and my goal is  to instill safe driving habits and get students on the road. I give tuition to new drivers, fully qualified drivers who have not driven for a while and want to get back on the road, and older drivers who are now at a stage they could improve their life and independance by driving. I am a Driving Standands Agency Approved Driving Instructor at a level 5. I understand the importance of independance to drive for an individual of any age living in the Cambuslang area. Driving is a privilege that needs to be earned. This privilege is earned by knowing SAFE driving techniques and following set road procedures.

The decision of who will teach you to drive is always a difficult one. Everyone worries:

• will the driving instructor give me more lessons than necessary ?

• will the instructor be an ogre

• what if something goes wrong, will I be safe

You don't need to worry, I will get you to driving test standard as quickly as possible. I use key words and unusual phrases to make the lessons and excercises easier to remember. I love my job, and have the “patience of a Saint”. I would love for you to enjoy safe driving as well, so my job is to ensure you have fun as well as a great learning experience, in a safe environment. My car has dual controls to enable me to assist if you have any problems. The more you enjoy your lessons, they easier each skill is to learn.

Unlike the big driving schools I work for myself and I care about every pupil I have given tuition to. I am always on time and never double booked.

I use plain language and a common sense approach. Driving is about repetition, the more you practice the better the skill becomes, thus building on every topic using known skills and information to introduce new topics and skills.

Thereafter

£21 per hour 

£28 for 1.5 hours

£35 for  2 hours
